Here we are at Umm Ar Rassas, the site of an entire Byzantine town with its 4 churches, homes, streets, roads. Above all - the mosaics, the colour and designs of which are extremely wonderful. You can see the wretched iconoclasts have removed many human and animal faces, but even they can't detract from the imaginative liveliness and vividness of the designs. That's Ms Lyndy enjoying a bath among the ruins.
