Think I'll show you around the school!

This is a bit blurry, because it's from my guest house window (through the fly screen). So I'll put another:
You see it's beautiful in the extreme - harmonious and tranquil. Maybe it'll be different when there are students here.
I'll try to take a picture of the biblical sheep today - maybe.

Here is a picture taken at the Roman Amphitheatre in Amman, which I cleverly found with the help of Joseph of Alia travel (who had met the Holy Ghost at 19 and was baptised as a Christian), who not only provided me with various maps - which turned out to all be in French- but put me on a bus and paid my fare to the First Circle. From its dizzying heights (the amphitheatre's not the bus's) I was overcome with such vertigo (or was it just the sun?) that getting back down again was almost impossible. How wonderful the Old City is with its little twisty streets, its mosque and Nymphaeum. I think I'll also include a picture of the fruit market.

Marhaba!

Assalaamu alaykum and welcome!
From the Levant (or more locally, the sham), I'll bring you updates of my travels.
